How to apply for the grace period for DVS 2024/PSS?

  London's Direct Visual Standard (hashtag #DVS) Progressive Safety System (hashtag #PSS) is now live ???? So what does this mean for you? HGVs over 12 tonnes will now need to have at least a DVS three star rating or be PSS compliant to continue operating in Greater London. Those who fail to meet these requirements will face a penalty notice every time they drive within the DVS boundary. However, eligible operators can still apply for a grace period. 

  Transport for London (hashtag #TfL) has extended the grace period until 4 May 2025 for operators who are able to provide evidence that they have arranged the installation work before the grace period ends, but this is not automatic and you must take some steps. To apply you must provide evidence that you have arranged for the installation of the PSS equipment. You can apply for the grace period here: https://lnkd.in/ee6cGr7H
